Emily Jane Rogers was born on 15 April 1990 in the picturesque city of Launceston, Tasmania, to parents Michael and Sarah Rogers. Growing up as the middle child between her older brother, Gerald, and younger sister, Sophia, Emily developed a strong sense of responsibility and a keen interest in justice from a young age.

Throughout her childhood, Emily excelled academically, consistently ranking among the top students in her class at Launceston Grammar School. Her natural curiosity and analytical mind led her to develop a fascination with puzzles and mysteries, which she often explored through her love of reading crime novels and watching detective shows.

Outside of her studies, Emily was an active participant in various extracurricular activities. She was a dedicated member of the school's debate team, honing her skills in critical thinking and persuasive argumentation. Additionally, she found solace and self-expression through her involvement in the drama club, where she discovered a talent for inhabiting diverse characters and understanding different perspectives.

As Emily approached the end of her secondary education, her passion for justice and desire to make a positive impact on her community led her to pursue a career in law enforcement. In 2008, she enrolled at Hobart College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with First Class Honours, while also minoring in Psychology to gain a deeper understanding of human behaviour.

During her time at Hobart College, Emily actively engaged in various community outreach programs, volunteering at local youth centres and participating in initiatives aimed at promoting public safety. Her dedication and compassion earned her the respect and admiration of her peers and professors alike.

After graduating from Hobart College in 2012, Emily embarked on the next phase of her journey, enrolling in the Tasmania Police Academy. She threw herself into the rigorous training program, excelling in physical fitness, marksmanship, and tactical decision-making. Her outstanding performance in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques earned her special recognition and solidified her commitment to serving and protecting the people of Tasmania.

In her personal life, Emily maintains a close relationship with her family, often returning to Launceston for holidays and special occasions. She is particularly close to her younger sister, Sophia, who looks up to Emily as a role model and confidante.

When not dedicating herself to her police work, Emily finds balance through her love of the outdoors. She is an avid hiker and enjoys exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Tasmania, often accompanied by her loyal German Shepherd, Max, whom she adopted from a police dog training program. Emily also has a passion for photography, using her keen eye to capture the natural beauty of her surroundings.

As she continues to rise through the ranks of the Tasmania Police, Emily remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
