Born on the 15th of November, 1993, in Launceston, Tasmania, Sean Alexander Mackenzie grew up in a close-knit family with a strong tradition of public service. His father, Duncan Mackenzie, served as a firefighter for over three decades, while his mother, Evelyn, worked as a primary school teacher. Sean's upbringing instilled in him a deep sense of community responsibility and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

As a child, Sean excelled in both academics and sports. He attended Launceston Church Grammar School, where he consistently achieved high marks and was a standout player on the school's cricket and football teams.
